Managed Website, VPS & Cloud Care

Your website, kept fast, secure and boring.

Recurring care for revenue-critical websites: monitoring, backups, updates, security checks, VPS and cloud management — plus reserved development hours every month, from a UK-led senior team who answer when it matters.

The foundation

What every plan covers

Whichever tier you choose, the fundamentals are never optional extras. Every managed care plan includes the routine, unglamorous work that keeps a business website out of trouble.

  • Uptime and error monitoring
  • Tested backups and restores
  • Core, plugin and dependency updates
  • Security checks and patching
  • VPS and cloud server management
  • Plain-English monthly report
  • Named UK-based technical lead
  • Reserved development time every month
Care plans

Pick the plan that matches what's at stake

Priced by how much your website matters to your revenue — not by how many tickets you raise. All plans are led by senior UK-based engineers.

  • Security checks and patching
  • One development hour per month

  • Priority business-hours incident response

  • All prices exclude VAT
Getting started

How onboarding works

Most websites we take on were built by someone else — which is precisely why we never start a care plan blind. Onboarding is a one-off, fixed charge of £750–£1,500 because inherited sites and servers need auditing, documenting and cleaning up before anyone can responsibly promise to look after them.

By the end, you own a documented, monitored, restorable estate — whoever looks after it in future.

  1. Access and credentials audit — we document who and what can touch your hosting, domains, code and admin accounts, and clean up anything that shouldn't.
  2. Infrastructure and code documentation — what runs where, on what versions, and how it deploys, written down so nothing lives only in someone's head.
  3. Backup and restore verification — we don't just check backups run; we restore one and prove it works before relying on it.
  4. Monitoring and alerting setup — uptime, errors and (on higher plans) performance and security signals, wired to people who act on them.
  5. Baseline report and plan start — a plain-English snapshot of where your estate stands, so every monthly report after it shows real progress.
Not quite ready?

Stabilise first, then care

If your site is currently unreliable, insecure or half-abandoned, a care plan alone won't fix it — start with a fixed-price Website & Cloud Rescue sprint to get it stable, then move onto managed care to keep it that way. Agencies can also white-label our care plans for their own clients under our partner programme.

Questions

Managed care, answered

What counts as a development hour — and can we use it for anything?

Development hours are reserved senior time each month for whatever your site needs: content changes, new features, performance work, integrations or advice. They are not limited to maintenance. Modest short-term rollover is fine, but unused time does not accumulate indefinitely — the plan buys you guaranteed availability, not a bank of hours.

What happens in an emergency outside our plan?

We triage it straight away during UK business hours and tell you honestly what it will take. Work beyond your plan's cover is quoted separately at a premium emergency rate before we start — no surprise invoices, and no pretending a standard plan includes 24/7 response when it doesn't.

Do you support sites and servers you didn't build?

Yes — most of the estates we care for were built by someone else. That is exactly why onboarding includes an access audit, documentation and backup verification: we take responsibility for what is actually there, not what we wish was there.

Can we cancel?

After the initial three-month term, every plan rolls monthly and you can cancel with a month's notice. We would rather earn the renewal each month than lock you into a long contract — and everything we document during your plan is yours to keep.

Why is there an onboarding fee?

Because taking on an inherited site or server responsibly is real work: auditing access, documenting infrastructure, verifying backups actually restore and setting up monitoring. The one-off £750–£1,500 charge covers that properly, so your monthly fee pays for care — not for untangling the past.
