REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers purchases of the apps and services sold by Connextar Technologies Ltd (company no. 08524460, registered in England & Wales, at 39 Seldon Street, Bradford, BD5 9HH) and paid for through our checkout.
Some products have their own terms that say more. Where they do, those terms set the detail for that product and take precedence over this page. For example, AltEd's are in its terms of service.
2. Your right to cancel
If you buy as a consumer in the UK, you have 14 days from buying to change your mind. How that works depends on what you buy.
Things you get straight away
Some purchases are supplied as soon as you pay, such as credits, a pass or a listing. At checkout you ask for it to start straight away. You also agree that once it has been supplied, you lose the right to cancel.
Subscriptions and services
A subscription or service starts as soon as you pay. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, we refund what you paid, less the part you've already had.
After those 14 days you can still cancel at any time. You keep access to the end of the period you've paid for. The rest of that period isn't refunded.
Buying for a business
The right to cancel is a consumer right. If you buy for a business, the product's own terms or your contract with us apply instead.
3. If something is wrong
Tell us if you were charged twice or by mistake, or if what you paid for didn't arrive or doesn't work. We will put it right or refund you.
Nothing in this policy affects your other legal rights.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email us at amir@connextar.com, or the support address in the product's own terms. You can also reply to your receipt.
Tell us the email address you paid with, and the date and amount of the payment.
5. How refunds are made
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. They usually arrive within 5 to 10 working days.
When a purchase is refunded, what it bought is taken back. That means unspent credits, the days left on a pass, or access to the product.
6. Payments to other people
Some products let you pay someone else, such as a family paying a tutor through AltEd. Those payments are between you and that person. Ask them about a refund.
